I am looking forward to an extended break to slow down and regroup. I have been recalling lately a time spent in Japan where I walked or rode a bike almost everywhere. It took long periods of time to take the kids to school and go to the grocery store every day. At the same time, I didn't feel rushed. Here I drive to the store once a week and my kids walk themselves to school. I feel like I have less time. It must be a different social mindset taking over.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
